Very impressed with all aspects of the golf course and hotel. The staff were especially welcoming, polite and went above expectations. Bringing a toddler was not an issue and they accommodated well to make ammendments for her. Food was excellent.

I have stayed at Llanhydrock for several years during the Royal Cornwall Show in June each year. Beautiful tranquil location. Spacious comfortable and well appointed rooms. The staff are exceptional and do everything possible to ensure your stay is as pleasant and hassle free as possible, doing everything they can to help their guests work around the demanding hours encumbent with working at the County Show. Flexibility with restaurant bookings was hugely appreciated !! Food served was both wholesome and delicious.I highly recommend this as somewhere to stay for both business and pleasure.

It was a very good hotel but it was mainly for golfer's. The thing I found unusual was that you had to stay in the hotel you weren't allowed to walk around the grounds because of the danger of being hit by golf ball. So there was no grounds to walk around. All food and service was excellent reception very helpful. Unfortunately the room we stayed in the beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in...

We enjoyed a pleasant one-night stay at Lanhydrock Hotel in Cornwall during Easter 2026. The price was reasonable and the room was tidy and clean though not everything was brand new. Looking through the window, it was a lovely view of the golf course. The bar opens all night for good drinkers. We were served a fantastic Cornish breakfast. If you’re driving and seeking a quiet clean and budget-friendly place to stay in Cornwall this is highly recommended!
