Bathurst Cottage

Bolsover's position on the edge of Derbyshire puts you within reach of both the Peak District and a cluster of market towns—Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton are all a short drive away. Bathurst Cottage is a detached three-bedroom property that works as a base for exploring the area or simply retreating to the garden with a book. The whole place is yours alone, sleeping six across three bedrooms: one with a super kingsize bed, one with a kingsize, and one with a double.

The ground floor holds a utility room and a separate toilet. Upstairs, the kitchen and dining room are fitted for actual cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer—and there are two living spaces, one with a wood burner and television, the other quieter. Two bathrooms serve the bedrooms, both with shower cubicles. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all covered; the wood burner comes with fuel to get you started.

Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and seating area gives you space to sit out, and there's a barbecue and firepit for evenings. You can park up to five cars on site. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
