About Ffosygrafel Isaf Camping
Ffosygrafel Isaf Camping sits in quiet countryside near Borth, a pared-back, eco-conscious site where composting toilets and renewable energy underline a commitment to treading lightly. The small setup—between 11 and 25 pitches—offers grass and hardstanding options for tents and campervans, and the peaceful, remote feel makes it a proper wildlife haven. Dogs are welcome year-round, and there's a pick-up service from public transport if you're leaving the car at home.
The location puts you within easy reach of Ceredigion's coast and hills: sailing, surfing, cycling, and climbing are all nearby, while Borth's shops and a farmers' market keep practicalities covered. Pitches start from around £28 a night. It's straightforward, genuinely tranquil, and ideal if you want somewhere low-key to recharge between exploring the beaches and back roads of mid-Wales.

What visitors say
We had a wonderful stay at this small-scale nature campsite. The owner is incredibly friendly and has clearly put a lot of thought, care, and hard work into creating a truly special place. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. Quiet hours are respected between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, making it an ideal place to enjoy the silence. The facilities are excellent. There are warm showers heated by solar panels, a designated campfire area, and a cozy communal space where you can cook, read a book, or simply unwind. The tent pitches are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, providing plenty of privacy. Handcarts are also available to transport your camping gear from the car park to your tent, which is a very thoughtful and convenient touch. Our tip: stay for at least two nights. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings deserve more than just a quick visit. We would happily come back!♥️☀️

I would like to start by expressing my huge gratitude to the owner, who welcomed us even though we hadn’t booked in advance. 🤫 We found this place on the map and arrived hoping there would still be a pitch available (we originally planned to wild camp in the van, but we needed somewhere to stop and take a shower). I truly struggle to find words that could describe this place and the incredible hospitality of the owner. The pitch for the van was perfect, and the campsite itself is huge and beautiful. There is even a swing for children built around a stunning tree! 🌳 The bathrooms and showers are done in a wonderful eco style (with hot water, which was amazing!). There is a fire pit area, a lovely little hut where you can wash dishes, read a book, or simply relax. We loved it so much that… we came back the next day. ♥️ I recommend this place, and I would once again like to say what a wonderful person the owner is. P.S. The owner’s dog is the sweetest dog in the world! Can’t wait to come back.

A little bit of paradise. We have stayed at the campsite twice, when it was brand new and in June 2026. We parked in the campervan area and everything was so gorgeous. Set in beautiful countryside, trees, wild flowers, starry nights, owls, birds, distant views of the sea. The cleanest, most stylish compost toilets and the solar shower was lovely and hot. Each pitch is spacious with lots of foliage so that it feels nice and private. The round house is absolutely beautiful. Amazing beach, boutique cinema, pubs and shop only about 10 mins drive away. The hosts, Ruth and Jono are fabulous too 🤩

Honestly what a hidden little jem!! One of the best campsites me and my partner have stayed at! Had the place pretty much to ourselves, stunning views, hut with plenty inside to keep you busy (or to do absolutely nothing) pot wash station's, toilets and hot shower, followed by my favourite the swing! We will definitely be back thank you for having us and making us feel welcome Jono, Ruth and Radio star 🌟 5 stars all around from us!
