Saltwater Grove

Alum Chine Beach is a few minutes' walk from Saltwater Grove, a contemporary two-bedroom apartment on the second floor with lift access and on-site parking. The beach itself is a Blue Flag stretch with calm waters suitable for swimming, and the coastal path runs eastward toward Bournemouth Pier or west to Branksome Chine. The promenade has cafés and restaurants including the beachfront Vesuvio; inland, Westbourne is a short drive with independent shops, bakeries and more dining.

The apartment has two bathrooms, a king bed in the master with an ensuite shower, and twin singles in the second bedroom. The open-plan living and dining area opens onto a balcony overlooking the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included, and there is covered parking for one car. No smoking.

This is somewhere to unwind by the sea rather than a party destination. It suits couples or families who want to be close to the water without being in the thick of a busy resort.
