About Parley Court Camping

Parley Court Camping sits just outside Hurn in Dorset, offering a relaxed, dog-friendly base for exploring the region. The site welcomes campfires and provides 35 grass pitches for tents (non-electric), plus a handful of furnished and unfurnished bell tents if you fancy a bit more comfort under canvas. Facilities cover the basics — showers, toilets and drinking water — though there's no chemical disposal point or WiFi, so it's best suited to those after a straightforward, unplugged stay.

The location works well for families and anyone planning day trips across Dorset, with decent access to the coast and the New Forest nearby. It's a practical, no-frills option rather than a destination in itself, but the friendly atmosphere and campfire-friendly policy give it plenty of charm.

We've just had the most wonderful weekend stay at parley court camping in one of their bell tents. On arrival the tent was all clean, with plenty of space for the 5 of us. We had requested a fire pit with logs and kiddling, the owners were kind enough to bring us over firelighters and a lighter to help us out. Was so lovely to see other families and children all getting on together, having fun. The toilets were clean, and the showers were lovely and hot, perfect first thing in the morning. Lovely to have the horses next door, and the planes going over were an extra highlight. The owner even brought us extra duvets as the 1st night was rather cold.nothing was too much bother.they really are so friendly and helpful. Great to have the golfing range on site too, gave our boys some great entertainment for the evening. Perfect location. Overall,I would highly recommend if you want a lovely little getaway.

We had a great stay at Parley Court this weekend. We are a family of 2 adults, 2 children and stayed in the deluxe bell tent. It was a lovely tent - airbeds and bedding all made up. It was very cute. Everyone was so friendly, it was so nice to see the children mixing with each other, playing and sharing their footballs, swing ball etc. It was a clean site, there was a farm smell in some areas but it is next door to an equestrian centre..... you can see the horses over the fence! The noise of the planes didnt bother us. The only reason I marked a 4 and not a 5 is because the showers were a bit untidy - however I have seen worse, just make sure you wear flip flops in the shower! Toilets were clean, just cobwebs and dust - no biggie, but most people were respectful of the toilets, not leaving them dirty and smelly. The owners were really friendly! Thanks for a great stay.

Had a wonderful experience with my fiancé in one of the Bell tents. Adrian was extremely helpful, welcoming, friendly and kind. The campsite was clean, relaxed, dog friendly and generally very well managed. Will definitely be coming back here when we're in the area! Thank you so much Adrian for all your help! Highly recommend.
