Top Withens and Bronte Falls lie within walking distance of this converted barn perched high in the hills above Haworth. The moorland around Keighley offers serious scope for outdoor exploration, and the property itself is set across five acres with countryside views stretching down to a reservoir below.
Inside, the layout splits between an open-plan ground floor and first-floor bedrooms. The main living space combines kitchen, dining area and lounge, where a woodburner visible from three sides provides the focal point. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and coffee machine for cooking and catering. Three bedrooms sleep six: one double with ensuite shower, one kingsize, and two singles. A family bathroom has a bath with shower over. The essentials—heating, electricity, linen, towels and wifi—come as standard. A highchair and stairgate are available for younger children, and one well-behaved pet stays free.
The barn retains its traditional character in a contemporary finish, with underfloor heating throughout and parking for three cars on site. An enclosed patio with garden furniture and a barbecue opens onto the grounds. No smoking inside. The property draws water from a spring, and gates should be kept closed and the drive used with care.

Always such a joy to stay at Brontë’s barn! Gorgeous accommodation run by a wonderful family, in a fabulous setting! What more could you ask?! Very nice pubs and restaurants within 20 to 30 minutes, a lot of places to see, such as Yorkshire Sculpture Park, within an hour. Plenty of space inside the barn with very comfortable beds, WiFi, heated floors and lots of peace and quiet, with the most stunning views. Conversely, if you want to do nothing more than sit with a book, or go walking, you can easily do that too! Maybe we shouldn’t be telling everyone how wonderful Ian and Cate are or it might get too busy?! 🫣

What a fantastic find in the heart of Bronte country. From the moment the host met us, we were made to feel welcome. A welcome hamper on arrival with 6 fresh eggs and local sourced produce was one of the lovely touches to make you feel special. The barn is equipped with everything you could possibly want and is decorated beautifully. Fresh fluffy towels, crisp white bed linen and the most comfortable bed we have ever had on holiday. The barn is in the most idyllic quiet setting, with only the sound of farm animals to wake you in the morning and the views are stunning. The barn is situated just a few minutes from pretty village of Howarth, and has some great walks on the door step. We would highly recommend this barn to everyone. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Second time we have stayed here and it never disappoints. Ian and Cate were great and very accommodating. Great walks, great pool table, great lodge and great views. What more could you want! We will be back again and again!
