Hollies Cottage
Bradford
High above Stanbury, moorland stretches across the horizon in every direction. Hollies Cottage occupies a quiet spot within these uplands, accessed via a farm track that winds through open country. The setting puts you within reach of a circular walk spanning 4½ miles, which passes Top Withens—the location believed to have inspired Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights. Haworth village lies roughly 2 miles away, known for the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the Worth Valley Steam Railway, and filled with tea rooms, restaurants and independent shops. A pub and restaurant are about a mile closer.
The cottage is a single storey, entirely on the ground floor. One bedroom contains a kingsize bed; the bathroom has a shower cubicle. The open-plan living space combines a sitting area (with a 32" TV and Freesat) and a dining area, connected to a kitchen where you can cook with an electric oven and hob, microwave and full-sized fridge. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. A welcome pack is provided on arrival.
Outside, a patio and garden furniture face out over the moorland. The hot tub sits on the lawned garden—the real draw of the space. There is parking for one car on site. The property is no smoking, and one well-behaved pet stays free.
