Draughton Heights Glamping Pods - Swallow

The Swallow is a detached glamping pod set on a working farm beneath pine trees, with open countryside and Aire Valley views. It sleeps four in a king-size bed plus a double sofa bed, with a shower room, open-plan living and dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. Each pod has its own garden area with sitting-out furniture and a firepit.

A rough track leads to the property, which sits within grounds containing unfenced ponds and open water; these are part of the landscape rather than amenities. One dog is welcome and stays free, though it must be kept on a lead as the farm is in sheep country. There is parking for one car on site. No smoking inside the pod.

Draughton Heights lies in farming country between Skipton and Ilkley. The Yorkshire Dales are close by for walking and outdoor pursuits. Skipton's market and castle are about 10 minutes' drive away; Ilkley's moorland and spa facilities rather longer. This is a quiet, rural base with the essentials on hand but little nightlife nearby.
