Belchamp Hall Stables

Belchamp Hall Stables is a standalone one-bedroom property on the grounds of a substantial country estate near Braintree. The single bedroom has a super king bed, and there is a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Everything you need for self-catering is here: a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, plus a living space with Freeview Smart TV and dining area. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered.

The stable opens directly onto a private, elevated terrace overlooking a traditional walled garden, with garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. You have your own parking for two cars on site. The wider estate grounds are shared with other properties and include a tennis court you can use. There are steps around the grounds. No smoking is permitted inside.

This location puts you within reach of the handsome wool towns of Suffolk and Essex—Lavenham, Long Melford and Clare are all nearby—as well as Sudbury, Colchester and Bury St Edmunds. Newmarket and its National Horse Racing Museum are also accessible for a day out.
