Horseshoes House is a 200-year-old cottage in the village of Saham Toney, with two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping four. The whole property is yours alone. A private hot tub sits in the garden, and there's a working open fire in the living room—both genuinely rare amenities in holiday rentals. The interior has been renovated but retains period character; it does contain some internal steps, which may affect those with mobility difficulties.
Downstairs, you get two living spaces (one with a 36" TV and DVD player, one for quieter use), plus a kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher and full fridge. Upstairs, one bedroom has a kingsize bed and the other two singles. The bathroom has a roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, as is initial fuel for the fire. There's parking for one car and access to a shared garden with seating and a barbecue; the washing machine is in an external utility room.
Saham Toney is close enough to Thetford Forest for walking and cycling, and the North Norfolk coast is roughly an hour away. Norwich, with its castle, cathedral and museums, is also within reach. The pub and restaurant are half a mile away, and a shop is a mile from the house. Note that the cottage has open and narrow stairs—not ideal if stairs are difficult for you.
