The Old Saddlery
Breckland
You enter The Old Saddlery into a generous ground-floor living space where exposed beams frame a woodburner, dining area and kitchen with full facilities for cooking. Three bedrooms are split across the property: two on the ground floor (one single, one with two singles accessed through the first), and a kingsize tucked into the eaves upstairs. The two bathrooms include a slipper bath, and bed linen and towels are provided. The ground floor also contains a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Wifi, electricity and heating are included.
The property was a cart shed and stables in the 1700s, later a saddlery until the 1980s. It sits quietly overlooking grazed meadowland where barn owls often hunt. An enclosed lawn surrounds it, with garden furniture and a sitting area, plus bike storage and parking for two cars on site. One dog stays free. The coastal villages of north Norfolk are within reach—Wells-next-the-Sea is about 20 minutes away. No smoking inside.
