Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel & Spa

Overall our stay was very nice!. Rooms were clean and the staff maintain the rooms clean and tidy for our arrival everyday. The only thing would be to change the bed for new one. Our package includes breakfast which we really enjoy and it has a continental option too, the portion were good and helps us to go though they day very well. Service was nice and friendly. Lots of different activities to do in the area and I was very surprised how much this are has to offer. The hotel has a pool which we really enjoy with our 11 year old kid which is open for children a couple of hours in the morning and afternoon. It has sauna and steam room and they provided towels for the pool. We truly enjoy our stay and thank you for everything! We could see how much hardwork is put every day ! 🙏. The are is surrounded with town and villages if you would like to eat o dine outside. Very accessible to reach different areas.

My friends and I came for a spa day a few months ago using one of the offers for a spa treatment, use of the facilities and a light lunch. The hotel is lovely, easy to find and the grounds are beautiful. The staff are friendly and we were really happy with the massages we all had. However the facilities are crying out for renovation. The changing rooms are very small. The jacuzzi barely worked and had more tiles missing than the tiles that were left which is such a shame! Lunch was lovely.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was the average hotel room, nothing much to say about that. The remote to our roku tv wasn't working so we had to use an app to control the tv but thankfully room service brought us a new one that worked better. Also, the pull-out sofa bed was a bit lumpy and took a while to get comfy on. Breakfast was good, there was a table at the back with a few options of snacks like toast and pastries to have with your main breakfast. There was even tea and small fancy 28g jam containers. The full welsh breakfast was good. Although, the spa was a bit of a disappointment. The jacuzzi barely worked and was not worth sitting in at all. The pool was warm which is nice to go into but personally I enjoy cold water especially when youre warmed up from all the swimming. Though, I do understand that this is more of a place to relax than to do extreme swimming in. The steam rooms were also normal, but not quite as hot as I'd like them to be. The overall experience was very enjoyable and the location is great to be in, especially since there's a bus stop right next to the hotel and another one across the road that goes in the other direction. All I ask is to renovate the pool floor as there was missing tiles and a bit of debris in some places, and to fix the jacuzzi to make it bubble more, please. p.s Pen-Y-Fan is a quick 8 minute~ bus ride away or if you're not into hiking then you could take the bus to Brecon and see the ethereal views of mountain peaks through your window. I also recommend going to the spa at 19:00-20:00 since that's the quietest and empty time. I've attached some photos from the hotel and many unnecessary photos/videos of random mountains and Brecon.

Location is great and peaceful quiet area just few mins from Beacons. A good well cooked breakfast & cold options. Rooms are basic but clean & comfortable. Pool & Sauna's are great but changing room cud do with a spruce & strange no secure lockers. WiFi fkakey
