What visitors say
Nice place tons of little walks and hides along the way there are loads of butterflies so keep an eye out for those but be sure to not miss out on the highland cow that wanders around the first pond

Peaceful and so much wildlife. It was so good exploring the trail and the landscape when I went. Only improvement would be more entertainment but other than that, really good here. Perfect place if you want to have a peaceful walk, even with your dogs, or maybe a bike ride. You also learn a lot about the history of Parc Slip and the mining disaster in 1892. It's really pretty here.

Parc slip is a beautiful short walk circuit with side routes to make it a longer walk. You can walk to Bedford Park from here. The jelly stone is a quirky installation, the wind up info points are as described; informative. The cafe at the entrance is our top favourite place to eat breakfast or light bites. (I highly recommend the loaded hotdog, hold the onion add chilli jam 🐷👌🏽 it’s my fixation food rn and one of the very few SAFE foods) Lovely coffee, cakes and big cookie treats! (Recommend trying all baked goods but I favour iced school cake and husband the Bakewell thingy) Catering for most humans and all the puppers 🐶 there are treats available and doggie ice cream. The staff are absolutely amazing. It’s an all round nice place. I love it, I think you could too! We will keep coming and bringing more loved ones and ones that are alright like 😊 tidy mun 🫶🏽✨

Lovely walks and well kept - lots of flat walks and a few ups and downs if you prefer. New cafe owners are fab - amazing gf bacon roll and the best black coffee I’ve had across the area - smooth and strong with seating outside and views of the nature reserve ☕️
