About Croft Glamping Cabins
Getting to Croft Glamping Cabins has a touch of magic – you'll follow the stream through North Newton's 'fairy glades', then up a grassy track to find your timber lodge tucked among the apple trees. This is Somerset glamping at its most secluded: just one cabin on site, so the orchard is entirely yours, shared only with dragonflies and birdsong. The space strikes a lovely balance between boutique comfort and outdoor simplicity. Inside you'll find a kingsize bed, log burner-style heating, plush robes and a kitchenette (cooker, fridge, kettle), while outside a wraparound deck with fairy-lit dining table makes the most of balmy evenings.
Optional extras include a hot tub and hampers, plus pop-up beds or tents for children. The village pub is two minutes on foot, and half an hour's walk brings you to the Somerset Boat Centre and canalside paths. It's an adults-only site (or families by arrangement), so expect real peace – though some may find the single portable loo a slight compromise on convenience. Cycle hire is available if you fancy exploring further afield.

Laurel Glamping is such an amazing venue – we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and get away from it all. The pods are absolutely incredible: spotlessly clean, beautifully finished, so cosy and thoughtfully put together with everything we could possibly need. It felt like a real home from home. The owner was wonderful too – so welcoming, friendly and genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. We left feeling so rested and already want to come back. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, special and run by lovely people, this is it!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely give this place 5 stars. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. The service was outstanding. Especially Craig (one of the owners) as he was kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Stayed for 2 nights. Brilliant hosts who've thought of everything. Very welcoming. We stayed in one of the couples pods and it had everything we needed and the hot tub was ready for when we arrived. Really nice location too, quiet with great views. Loved Nellie the really friendly farm cat too who came to see us in the morning. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing place, Clean, quiet with a beautiful Hot tub. Luckily for us we live 30 minutes away so we will be back in the near future!
