About Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort puts a good deal of effort into its kitchen, and it shows: the breakfast buffet and the steak dishes are consistently the things guests remember most, backed up by a restaurant, bar and room service for anyone who'd rather not stray far. Some meals hit better than others, so it's worth going in with reasonable expectations rather than assuming every plate will match the best of them.
The hotel itself is a substantial one, with 188 rooms spread across three floors, including family and accessible options, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi throughout. Pets are welcome, and there's a bridal suite for those booking the on-site wedding venue. Beyond the rooms, the resort centres on golf and spa facilities, with a gym, sauna, hot tub and indoor swimming pool for guests who want to unwind, plus treatments that regularly get singled out for quality.
Set in North Lincolnshire near Brigg, on Ermine Street, the resort is within reach of a golf course, pubs, restaurants and other entertainment nearby. Free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point are provided, and meeting rooms and business services make it a practical stop for work as well as leisure breaks.
What guests say
We held our ruby wedding anniversary meal at Forest Pines last night in the family room of the restaurant. The whole experience was fabulous . The food was amazing, the staff lovely and we couldn't have been happier with everything. Particular mention though has to go to Coleen, the event organiser at the Hotel. From the moment we met her to show us around Forest Pines we knew that everything would be absolutely perfect in her extremely capable hands. Coleen help in organising our event was invaluable and she always answered any queries I raised very promptly. Her efficiency was amazing and of a standard rarely seen, in today's world. Coleen helped with the menu choices for our meal sending these to guests on our behalf and collating their responses. She designed a ruby wedding logo for our event and nothing seemed too much trouble for her considering our party of 14 was presumably very small by this Hotel's standards . The little touches she added like place name settings with menu choices written on tbem were lovely and helpful to both serving staff and our guests. The upgrade on our room booking was very much appreciated and she dealt with all our guests hotel bookings and everything very effeciently The rooms were spotless and contemporary. It was particularly nice that she came to see us in the lounge area the morning after our meal before we checked out to see if everything had been okay. It certainly had and Coleen is a credit to this Hotel.

The hotel is nice and welcoming and it has decent rooms. However, it can be quite a walk to your room. Popped down to the bar for dinner and I was welcomed straight away. I ordered the burger which was decent but what stood out, was the service. The team were very attentive throughout and made eating alone a nice experience. Special shout out to Tom P who provided me with a top level service. Thanks Tom.

Good stay. Fantastic facilities, brilliant breakfast. The pool sauna and steam room were great, the pines bar was very nice with great outdoor seating in the sun. Breakfast was a buffet, it had a large selection of cold and hot food. The hashbrowns were top notch. Breakfast overall was well worth the £14pp we paid for this. The staff who we encountered were friendly and helpful. Only minor downside was the room - the spare pillows were dirty, so had to request new ones but this was sorted quickly. The room wasn’t super clean, there was a used bottle lid under the bed as well as all sorts of debris. There were streak marks on surfaces and dust on shelves in the bathroom. There was rips in the bedding. The Room looked tired and could use updating. Pillows were not comfortable so didn’t sleep that well. The reason I’m giving it 5 stars was due to the facilities and because we got a very good last minute deal, had we paid full price we would have not been as impressed.
