Brilliant. Just had a 3 course Sunday lunch for £21.95 and I can't fault it. Excellent value and good service. We both had the creamy garlic mushroom starter, then I had the pork and he had the beef. It came with roast potato, mashed potato, cabbage, carrots, peas and cabbage and a Yorkshire pudding, a large ladle of gravy each and stuffing. For dessert, I had hot chocolate fudge cake with custard and he had lemon sponge and custard. Good size portions of everything. We're completely stuffed and happy. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family, the food was delicious and the drink was refreshing. It was a hot day but the pub was cool. Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere. Will be going again.

We just called in for a drink on this occasion but we have eaten here in the past. The Sunday lunches are highly recommended. There are some steps but there are areas that are accessible to wheelchairs from the front and rear entrance. There is a public carpark directly to the rear and the council subsides the first two hours on a weekday and all day at the weekend.

Stayed here a few times now rooms here are clean tidy and very comfortable. The food is excellent and worth the money. The hosts and staff are warm and friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble for them. Well worth the stay and value for money in all areas.
