My wife and I stayed at Berwick Lodge for the first time on our wedding night and we'll definitely be back. The staff were so exceptionally attentive and all seemed to be aware of our special occasion, which gave our stay a really unique and personable touch. The room, Zeguma, was amazing and the balcony was a life saver in the hot weather. The grounds are beautiful and home to a variety of wildlife. After an extremely long wedding day, we slept through our alarm the following morning and rushed down to breakfast right at the end of the usual serving times. The staff were so accommodating and still served us despite our being late. The food was very high standard and to top it off, was complimentary on the venue which was completely unexpected and a really kind gesture. Overall, I can't recommend Berwick Lodge enough. It ticks all the boxes as an event space, or as a hotel stay. Both my wife and I would like to say a special thank you to all of the staff for making our wedding night and following morning such a special experience.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels throughout my life, but Berwick Lodge by far TOPS THEM ALL! We stayed for two nights to celebrate my husband's birthday. The pictures of the hotel are beautiful (hence why we booked it when we found it online), but they don't do it justice. This hotel is stunning in every way! We stayed in the Lydia room which was unbelievable. So beautifully decorated, special, and made us feel like royalty. All of the hotel staff are so friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant is delicious, and the grounds of the hotel are absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the beautiful views from our room and magical sunsets! My husband and I both said we wished we had got married here. The hotel and restaurant staff were all very kind and accomodating with our 16 month old son too which we really appreciated. Amazing value for money with the spring deal that we booked. Our stay was perfect and after two nights we were really sad to leave. We will definitely be back! Thank you Berwick Lodge. ❤️

We've just returned from a two night stay and loved the hotel. It's the second time we've been and this time we stayed in Galatia. It was very small although the bathroom was very large and roomy. The only reason for taking one star off was because the room was very cramped. The food is excellent and the customer service is second to none. The hotel is warm and inviting, close to the motorway but so quiet and secluded it's hard to believe how near to the hustle and bustle of life you actually are. Overall, a lovely place for a complete getaway. Would definitely recommend seeing for yourself.

The best hotel in Bristol, without question. We have stayed in other luxury hotels in Bristol and none of them come close. The grandeur of the whole venue, grounds and individual rooms is really something special; whether experienced as an overnight stay or simply to enjoy the excellent on-site restaurant. Hotel restaurants can be a little soulless and designed to tick a box. This isn't the case at Berwick Lodge and the restaurant stands on its own merits. We had a lovely dinner which was beautifully presented (and generously served with complimentary bread and amuse bouche which is less and less common these days). The honey crème brûlée was a highlight. Breakfast is worth adding and afternoon tea is also picture perfect in the sumptuous surroundings. We have stayed in Troya and Ionia - both have their own charm and impressive features such as the beautiful rolltop baths. Classical music as you enter your room is a really thoughtful touch, as are the flowers you find around the hotel from their own gardens. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed a spot of badminton outside. With only 14 rooms, Berwick Lodge provides service with a truly personalised touch that is impossible to replicate in larger venues. Sarah leads with such warmth and genuine hospitality that filters through the whole team and is rare to see these days. We hope to have more cherished moments at Berwick Lodge for years to come. If you are yet to visit, we couldn't recommend it more highly!
