About The Bristol Hotel

The Bristol occupies a prime spot on the harbourside, part of the Irish family-owned Doyle Collection group and one of the city's most polished addresses. Its 187 rooms and suites look out over either the working harbour or the rooftops of the Old City, and the hotel trades on that waterside setting as much as its interiors.

Public spaces include Rick's, a glamorous cocktail bar, and a restaurant that has become a destination in its own right, alongside a fitness suite for guests wanting to keep up a routine while away. The location puts SS Great Britain, the M Shed and St Nicholas Market all within a short walk.

It suits couples and business travellers wanting a central, dependable base with a genuine sense of place, and its harbourside terrace is a popular spot to watch the water traffic pass on a summer evening.

Fantastic stay at The Bristol Hotel Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming — from reception to the restaurant, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a smile and genuine care. The team is always attentive and makes sure everything is taken care of without you even having to ask. The food is also outstanding, with great quality and a varied menu. The restaurant service is professional, friendly, and very efficient. Overall, a great experience and definitely the best option in Bristol. Highly recommended!

I went there for my 50th and it was amazing! The hotel was great! The room was incredibly comfortable and the food delicious! But for me the most important thing was the personal attention given by the staff: Vanessa, Pablo, Roman, Kizzy Lee, Daniela, Javier, Valeria (sorry if I misspelt /forgot your name), were incredible; they made my stay unforgettable with their professionalism and kindness - they even sent me a lovely chocolate arrangement for my birthday

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We experienced car issues whilst here and needed an RAC callout. The team on the front desk were helpful and made the whole experience so manageable. Breakfast was worth it. It is central and we stayed on a Friday night so there was some noise outside, but it didn’t impact our sleep or bother us at all. Very clean.

Fantastic hotel - over the past two months I stayed 4-5 times whilst visiting my father in hospital. The staff were exceptional every visit especially the reception team. Parking in Bristol is never easy but with the car park next door I never failed to get a space. Food was delicious and the rooms I stayed in were clean and comfortable.
