About Whitehouse Guestrooms

Breakfast is included every morning at Whitehouse Guestrooms, a straightforward adults-only bed and breakfast on Dean Lane in Bristol, and there are drinks available in the rooms too for those who'd rather not head out straight away. It's a no-frills setup rather than a destination restaurant, but it covers the basics well.

Rooms are simple and functional, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and the property runs a 24 hour reception so arrival times are never a problem. Free WiFi is available throughout, and guests travelling by car benefit from free on-site parking, which is worth noting for a city-centre stay.

The location puts guests within reach of Bristol's Harbourside and the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and there are pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries nearby for evening meals, along with a golf course and entertainment options close by. It suits travellers who want a practical base for exploring the city rather than a lot of extras.

This b&b, for the price, had a lovely sized bathroom and ample sized bedroom. It was nice to have the mirror to get ready. There was easy access to plug sockets. The shower was easy to use and adjust to a good temperature. The bed was comfy, but I found the pillow too high. The lady that greeted us was very polite and friendly, asking if we knew the area. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit, cereals, bread, crumpets and croissants + more. A great price for a welcoming b&b.

Nice clean room, comfy bed, good shower, friendly lady let us in, great little pub next door - all good so far, BUT no sleep at all after about 2.00am as a bunch of drunk blokes were shouting up and down the passages, banging doors and being really loud for the rest of the night. They were still yelling at each other four hours later. If you stay, bring earplugs.

This guesthouse is very well-situated, near the center of Bristol, 5 mn walk , located in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are clean and comfortable. But the front hall is not very cosy. Only tables and chairs. Maybe you could make this room more warm and welcoming by adding sofas, sofa chairs and some decorations. The staff is very friendly. It was our first stay at this guesthouse and if we were to return to Bristol, we would stay here again.

Granny room, rustic, classic. The heaters don't work after 12pm, so you will freeze during the night. Very noisy, you can hear all your neighbors. No shampoo, no shower gel in the bathroom. The breakfast is a bad joke. The cheapest products ever, no meat. We couldn't eat anything. One day we refused the cleaning service, we went out late and closed the door. When we returned the door was open. Poor services, big dislike
