Middle of Nowhere - No. 1 Fox Burrow
Broadland
Broadland's countryside wraps around this pair of cottages that sit apart from the main world. Fox Burrow is one of a small cluster of holiday homes here, each with its own enclosed garden and patio. The setting suits anyone wanting genuine quiet—the sort of place where you notice the absence of traffic rather than its presence. Walks and cycling start from the garden gate, and the Marriott's Way runs nearby for longer routes on foot or wheels.
The cottage has two storeys. Downstairs holds a living room with a sofa bed and French doors onto the courtyard, plus a kitchen/dining space equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, the essentials for feeding a group. A bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower sits on this floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with two singles, sleeping six in total. The whole property is yours alone. Underfloor heating and gas keep things warm; Wi-Fi, electricity and linen are included. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer in an external utility room shared with the other properties on-site.
A private hot tub for four sits in the garden. The enclosed front garden has furniture for sitting out. Parking for two cars comes with the booking. One dog stays free; other pets by arrangement. No smoking inside. Families travelling with small children can request a travel cot, highchair and stairgate.
