Wroxham sits at the centre of the Norfolk Broads, where the waterways dominate the landscape and boat traffic passes constantly. Otters occupies a prime position in the village, steps from the bridge and surrounded by cafes, pubs and shops. The house is laid out across three floors: ground floor holds the kitchen and a bedroom with a kingsize bed, plus a second bedroom with twin singles; upstairs, the living and dining room has a woodburner and television; at the top, a third kingsize bedroom comes with its own ensuite shower. Two bathrooms serve the property overall. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included, and there is parking for two cars on site.
Guests with a dog pay nothing extra; the enclosed courtyard garden is a safe space to sit outside. The location makes it straightforward to arrange boat hire or canoe trips from local operators, or simply watch the activity from dry land. Walking distance brings you to pubs and restaurants; further afield are the beaches at Cromer and Happisburgh (each around 12 miles away), where grey seals haul out, particularly in winter at Horsey. BeWILDerwood adventure park is at Horning, and Norwich cathedral and museums lie 8 miles south. The property does not permit smoking.

Lovely little spot with beautiful views. Our pooch loved the pupsicle, he practically inhale the entire thing. Our cakes were also delicious. Coffee was nice and hot, but slightly bitter. Not sure the ratios were correct or something. Very little milk for flat whites too.

On a very nice walk by the broad and stumbled across the hungry otter. Couldn’t resist one of the very tasty sausage rolls. Would highly recommend.

First time here in nearly 2 years of living on the Broads and I must say the coffee is excellent as well as the service given by the lady working here who is very polite and very chatty. Of course the area in general around Salhouse broad is very tranquil and i'm definitely coming back at some point

We found this wee gem amongst the broads (incredible location) on our boat trip last week and enjoyed the most delicious home made lunch by Helen- the lovely hostess, owner and brilliant cook. Six of us enjoyed tasty pulled pork and coleslaw sandwiches, amazing pasta salads, hot chocolates and yummy rocky roads and muffins. We absolutely loved everything about it including the cute van with beautiful views. Brilliant location, lovely owner and absolutely the best lunch we had on our holiday. Extremely highly recommended. Go out of your way to eat here! We’ll be back. Thank you Helen and wishing best to your partner.
