The Nest

This ground-floor bungalow was built for accessibility and comfort. Five bedrooms—one with a king bed and ensuite, three with doubles or twins, all with their own bathrooms or access to shared facilities—sleep ten across the property. The open-plan living spaces include a sitting room with an open fire, dining room, and two conservatories: one south-facing with garden views, the other doubling as a utility room with a pool table. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and essentials including heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a barbecue, seating areas, and parking for five cars. The private heated swimming pool (10m x 5m, varying depth from 0.9m to 1.8m) operates May Spring Bank Holiday through mid-September. A separate hot tub for six runs year-round. The location is walkable to Aylsham's market, shops and cafés; the Bure Valley Railway connects to Wroxham and the Norfolk Broads, while Norwich city centre is 13 miles away. Cromer's beach and pier are 11 miles south. Blickling Hall, a National Trust house, sits 1 mile away. No smoking inside.
