We stayed 8 nights and we were sorry to leave. A lovely campsite, one of our top choices now. Great peaceful location. Good access. We stayed on the A140 until the B road turn off. This was a little windy but always had a white line down the middle. About a mile that's all. My bird identification app was picking up at least 15 different types of birds at sunset. Incredible. The lakes create a wonderful setting with lovely walks all around the site. It was stunning at sunset and sunrise at Mill farm. Our pitch was such a good size. Water on tap along with the electric. Kingfisher Retreat looked like a wonderful place to stay too if you don't want to set up your own pitch. (AirBnB) The facilities were great. Jean,Paul and Harry were so lovely and helpful. It was much appreciated. We even had a visit from 2 swans at breakfast time, a unique and amazing experience! Loved hearing and watching the geese antics. Thank you for running a unique and wonderful site, we look forward to coming back ASAP.

Super nice owners, thank you so much for making our stay possible. Lots of birds- king fishers of course and we also saw a Marsh Harrier flying over. Lovely place with great facilities.

Gorgeous campsite. Stayed for 3 nights with our Son (his first camping trip). Peaceful. Sheltered. Clean toilet & showers. Nice & helpful owner. Beautiful swans came to visit us daily. Fantastic location for everything we wanted to see. Thanks for a wonderful break.
