About Top Farm Caravan and Camping Site

Top Farm Caravan and Camping Site sits tucked away near Marsham, offering a peaceful retreat with surprisingly easy access to Norwich's historic centre. The site strikes a nice balance between rural calm and convenience – you're on a working farm surrounded by Norfolk countryside, yet public transport links and nearby amenities mean you're never too isolated. Campfires are encouraged, dogs are welcome year-round, and families appreciate the play area and parent-baby facilities.

With cycle hire on site and trails threading through the local landscape, it's a proper base for exploring the Broads by bike or foot. Pitches range from budget-friendly non-electric grass spots to hookup options, and while it's straightforward rather than luxurious, the 4.8 rating suggests campers value the genuine welcome and unfussy charm. A solid, honest choice for exploring Norwich without the noise.

Oh wow! We booked buttercup meadow for a long weekend. Immediately we were met by the owner Clive who is the most welcoming, genuine, funny and informative guy you will ever meet! ❤️ Had the pleasure of meeting his daughter in law and wife too. After just one night experience at Buttercup Meadow.. we would love to live there permanently! We are experienced campers who have camped in England, Wales & Scotland but this is far best the best campsite we have ever been to. I can’t rate this campsite highly enough. Beautiful surroundings and wildlife. Amenities were top notch. I would advise no one to book it as we want it all ourselves 🥰🥰 this site will not disappoint and a personal thank you to Clive and his wife for supporting me through a personal time. Love, love, love this site xxxxx

This is the best campsite we’ve ever stayed on. Extremely well looked after, with lots of thoughtful details. We hired a bell tent, which had everything we needed and was sparkling clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had the best nights sleep we’ve ever had whilst camping! We had rotten weather while there, but the great little kitchen area gave us shelter and the tent was very sturdy. Clive is very welcoming, and full of useful knowledge. He went out of his way to help us with a few things. Judith was also very caring and helpful, and you can tell has put a lot of thought into this experience. If you want to get away from it all and experience the great outdoors this is the place. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and walks we will be returning.

Having stayed here many times, I can only give this wonderful place a good review. It's approach is by a farm track, which if using the appropriate speed isn't as uneven as it appears. We towed our 4 berth caravan along it quite easily. The site itself is a beautiful natural space with a very attentive owner who welcomes you on arrival. Everyone working and staying there are really friendly and it might not have a shop but there is a Tesco approximately 2 miles away by car. Also there is a pub within walking distance which serves food and there are plenty of good walks for after you've eaten. Facilities are perfectly clean and adequate. What's not to love! It's a 10 from me.
