We had a fantastic meal at The Black Boys Hotel in Aylsham. The service was excellent, everyone was welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and the prices were very reasonable, making it excellent value for money. The biggest win for us was the kids menu. Our very picky 5-year-old absolutely loves pesto pasta, and this is the only pub we've ever found that actually has it on the children's menu! It made our meal so much easier and meant we had one very happy little boy.

Popped in for a cheeky dinner yesterday ordered a burger it was so good and alot of places i find if u have a good dinner dessert is normally a let down but i had the banoffi pie and it did not disappoint at all the whole experience was amazing and we had a couoke of waiters/waitresses and they were all super attentive and polite and amazing customer service. It was so good we came back for breakfast in the morning. I would definetely recommend to anyone.

My family and I came here for Sunday dinner. The atmosphere, service and food could not be faulted. The only downside is that we were spoilt for choice with an amazing menu which made selecting just one dish each difficult! Will definitely be recommending and returning to this place. Thank you.

Stopped by for lunch while visiting Aylsham on a Monday. Historic place, well-reviewed. Pre-booked table for three people - but wasn’t necessary, as few guests. Attractive menu, and helpful staff. But perhaps the Monday chef … fish and chips were soggy, suggesting the oil wasn’t hot enough in the fryer. Matter was raised with staff, but response was negligible - no offer to replace, refund or abate. Curious. Maybe avoid on Mondays?
