What visitors say
Very grateful to the team at Blue Spider for my five year old son's taster session. During the morning he became very shy and nervous about visiting a new place and joining a group lesson with children he didn't know. The colleague at the front desk let us go through to the cafe to give him a chance to settle in. His instructor then showed him round for a few minutes with his mum before the lesson started. The instructor was kind and encouraging - he responded really well to her approach and had a fantastic lesson along with another boy. He now says he wants to go back and quite honestly the kindness shown by your staff was what made the difference. Thank you!

We went along for a family taster session for 90 minutes and while it’s not exactly cheap to do, it is 100% fun and challenging to do! We had a great instructor who was helpful, friendly and supportive around all the various activities we had a go at! Will definitely look at doing it again! Great intro to the sport!

My 10 and 12 year olds loved their beginners’ session here over half term. Instructor was great with children, as you’d hope; kind, patient and fun. Wasn’t too busy at all, which was a bonus. Got to enjoy a coffee in peace in the cafe too. Staff friendly and facilities good. Would definitely recommend.

Reviewing specifically my coaching experience with Knight, who is a fantastic coach and has already (in just two sessions) significantly elevated my climbing. We worked on building confidence through fall practice - not only was Knight very considerate of my current level of comfort, they also judged just the right amount of increase to push without terror! Their coaching cues have really resonated with how I learn and I’m already climbing a higher grade with more confidence and less fear. Not necessarily successfully … but it feels much more within reach already. They are quick to celebrate wins and point out positives in technique and commitment, which has had a huge effect on my confidence. I cannot recommend Knight enough! Oh, and the gym is pretty good too 😜
