About Burnham Beeches Hotel

Slough sits within easy reach of Burnham, where the Roald Dahl Museum offers a point of interest for visitors, and it's here on Grove Road that Burnham Beeches Hotel makes its home. Set within its own grounds, the hotel is known for a tranquil atmosphere that feels removed from the surrounding town, with gardens that guests are encouraged to wander before or after exploring the local area.

The hotel's 82 rooms are comfortable and well-decorated, and guests can make use of a restaurant, bar, gym, spa and sauna, and an indoor swimming pool. Breakfast buffets and afternoon tea are particular strengths of the kitchen, and the restaurant is complemented by further pubs and eateries nearby. Meeting rooms and business services are available for those travelling for work, and the property also operates as a wedding venue. One point worth noting is that the hotel does not offer air conditioning throughout.

Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and professional, and free on-site parking is provided for all guests. A lift serves the building, and luggage storage is available for those arriving early or departing late.

We recently stayed for a one-night spa break to celebrate my son’s 20th birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. On arrival, we were delighted to be upgraded to one of the Beech Twin rooms, which was beautiful, spacious and, during this very hot weather, the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. We were also welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. A special mention must go to Ian on reception, who was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He really made us feel valued as guests and helped make the occasion feel extra special. We also enjoyed fantastic spa treatments, and Erika, our massage therapist, was absolutely wonderful. Her warm, friendly manner and excellent massage left us both feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The hotel itself is set in beautiful surroundings, and we loved walking through the stunning woodland around Burnham Beeches. It was peaceful, picturesque and the perfect setting for a relaxing break. In the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful meal together, and the following morning we were treated to an excellent breakfast. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely hospitable. Most importantly, Harrison and I had such a lovely time celebrating his birthday together and created some very special memories. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

Loved our stay here. It really surprised us as a tucked away hotel in a fairly remote part of the country. Wonderful staff, gorgeous rooms and decor and beautiful grounds. The food is gorgeous and the restaurants are lovely. We will defo return for an afternoon tea experience with our daughter once she’s older. It’s just a gorgeous hotel, feels chilled not too ‘sceney’ or pretentious just perfect. Dog friendly bonus was essential for us although would say dog friendly rooms need to have aircon and climate control. And make the family rooms dog friendly (families have dogs too!!)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the most amazing day at Burnham Beeches Hotel and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made me feel welcome and valued. A special thank you to Ginny and Erica, whose massages were absolutely incredible – professional, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. They truly made the experience unforgettable. I’d also like to thank Ali, the Reception Manager, for his outstanding service and warm hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. All of the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout my visit. They were amazing and made my day truly special. I can’t wait to return!

What a wonderful venue. I arranged a work Off-site here and was very pleased. The hotel had been completely refurbished 2 years ago and still looks well kept and the staff are amazing and very helpful, particularly Natasha (events) and Ian (reception), they couldn't do enough for you. The food is amazing, very fresh, healthy and a great selection. Highly recommended and is especially good for large events as they have 100+ bedrooms.
