Went just for food and a pint. Beer is higher priced and the neck oil tasted a little of pipe vleaner to me. I advised staff and they advised another pint went earlier and they didnt complain! The Summerleaze eas a good pint, tasting right. I ordered the 10oz rump, not cheap at £28, but a very nice steak, I ordered medium rare, but got more rare than I.love, but it eas still excellent served with a fair portion of chips and side salad. My wife ordered fish and chips @ £18, the mushy peas were just old (gone over home grown) garden peas broken up and were not the best. She found the fish well cooked and a great batter, but the fish potion within small covered by a very generous coating of batter. She had a good serving of chips. Overall we felt it was a fair meal, but was not 5 star. The pinball machine was very dominant and noisy, spoiling a good meal, atmosphere was good, we had a great window seat near the door.

Fantastic location fantastic lovely spacious apartment. Comfy bed well equipped all in first class condition. Great views. Close to everything . Great bar and restaurant attached with great friendly and helpful staff. Good beers and wines. Loved the hasy beer selection. A very dog friendly place.

100% recommend for food, drinks & stay! Apartment - We stayed in the apartment eight, it was off season so price reflected this (I think). Massive bathroom! Shower was great. Bed very comfortable and big. Nice touch with coffee machine and milk left for us. Very quiet at night. Location - Great location, easy walk to Bude. Very close to the beach!! Food & Drinks - We shared the blue cheese steak pizza which was AMAZING! Decor in the actual restaurant could do with updating, but the service and food were great. Good selection of drinks & reasonably priced. You do get 10% off for food if you stay upstairs.

This place has a great layed back vibe to it. Old n young, holiday makers n locals all rubbing along together. All staff are fab and so is there grub. Wasn't sure what to have so the waitress recommended the pizzas. And that was good shout because not only were they huge but the best I've had anywhere and at a good price. If you're looking for a place to eat in Bude then this has to be it. You'll not be disappointed.
