Toppesfield is really a 5-Star-B&B. And Karen and Paul are 10-Star-Hosts. So nice and helpful. Without their help we would have lost one holiday day because of a rental car damage. All is said about the B&B, the beautiful bathroom, the delicious breakfast and all the fabulous tipps from Karen where to spend the day. As Paul said: We came as guests and left as friends.

This bed and breakfast is better than any 5 star hotel we've stayed in. The room was luxurious and spotless. We had our own front door, with patio doors leading from the bedroom to our own private garden, making it feel like home from home, only better! Karen couldn't have been more helpful and my intolerances to wheat and dairy were catered for too. Breakfast was superb.

We stayed for a week in August 2020. Karen and Paul are great hosts and made us feel really welcome. We stayed in room one which is a good size, tastefully decorated and is light and airy and well equipped with a large comfortable bed, flat screen TV, a small fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine. The room also had a good amount of storage space and the bathroom has a large modern shower. Karen makes a great breakfast too with a good choice available. The B&B is located 10 minutes from Bude and made a good base to explore the north Cornish coast. If you want to stay somewhere in North Cornwall then I'd have no hesitation in recommending Toppesfield House!

We had a lovely stay at Karen & Paul's B&B. Rooms were very clean, spacious and bright and with lots of small details (e.g. a cool down mat for a hair iron) to make you feel welcome. Karen even discovered a Rose lemonade for us. We got lots of recommendations for places to visit. Breakfast was great with many different options (full English, salmon, delicious fruit salad). Definitely a great location to discover North Cornwall with great hosts.
