Outside, Widemouth Bay itself is the main draw, with walking and cycling routes along the coast, watersports nearby, fishing options, and further pubs and restaurants a short distance away. Free on-site parking makes it straightforward for those arriving by car to explore the wider Bude area from here.

Lovely stay all round! Wonderful location, lovely staff! And we enjoyed the food on Friday which was steak/meat buffet. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because the shower was too hot, especially when it’s so warm outside. Otherwise the room was lovely and spacious and lovely views.

We had a three night stay and enjoyed every minute. This hotel has a million dollar view over a beautiful part of the Cornish coastline and it was great to watch the sun go down on the terrace with a fine local beer. The rooms were super clean, comfortable beds and with everything you need. The food was great, a highlight was Friday steak night featuring meat from a highly rated local farmer. Outstanding cooking too. But the very best aspect was the service, everyone from the landlord to the newest member of staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and wanting to do anything to make our stay pleasant. We will be back.

Stayed at Widemouth Manor for two nights and honestly had such a lovely stay. The location is stunning with incredible views over Widemouth Bay, especially at sunset. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of nights away. We also had dinner and drinks here during our stay and were really impressed. The food was fresh, tasty and generous in portion size, and the cocktails/drinks were great too. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel looked after from start to finish. A perfect spot if you want a peaceful Cornwall getaway with amazing coastal views, good food and a relaxed vibe. Would definitely stay again.

We only ate here so cannot comment on the rooms. They have regular eat as much as you like buffets. Tonight’s was Indian, very acceptable quality for the price. Friendly helpful staff, they allow dogs and had a good play area for the kids. Keen to go back and try the seafood buffet!
