About Kitsham Camping
It's all about location at Kitsham Camping, a peaceful pop-up site on a working farm just fifteen minutes from Bude. Surfers head to Widemouth Bay for consistent waves, while dog walkers favour Black Rock Beach – both a ten-minute drive away and offering access to the South West Coast Path. The pitches are nicely spread out across three gently sloping acres with far-reaching valley views, and there's even an in-house massage therapist for post-surf R&R.
Facilities are deliberately no-frills: a brick shower block with plenty of hot water, separate washing-up area, and laundry on request for those inevitable Cornish downpours. Families appreciate the proximity to adventure parks and petting farms, though some visitors note the site can feel a bit basic if you're after more creature comforts. Stock up on Cornish produce at the community shop in Marhamchurch (ten minutes away, pub there too), or head to Bude supermarkets for larger supplies.

What visitors say
I rented a bell tent here, the farmer was very helpful and friendly, it was quiet, the king size bed was comfortable and we rented paddle boards and a fire pit and chairs which made the trip easy and comfortable. Thank you

Lovely setting in the country about 3 or 4 miles from Widemouth Bay which is stunning. Electric hook up. If you are towing then use the A395 and the A39 to get there as the way the sat nav took me was very windy narrow lanes, not good for towing. Had a lovely stay. We had BBQs and fire pits that we brought and set up. Sat up late into the night with no fuss or complaints. The WC block is a bit tired and could do with a refurb but it all works. Place to empty your waste water and WC plus fresh drinking water. Will definitely go back though

Great site. Just what is needed if you’re looking for a small site but with enough facilities (shower, loos, washing machine, tumble dryer, washing up area) to make life easier. Beautiful views and a welcoming host. We love it here. Though sssh don’t tell everyone! Plus it’s very near to Widemouth Bay and on a rainy day to Rebel Cinema and Cornish Coasts shop and restaurant. We love it.

Great space, quiet and right in the thick of the countryside.
