Caer Beris Manor occupies a Grade II-listed manor house set within its own parkland grounds on the edge of Builth Wells, on the banks of the River Irfon. The building's oak panelling, mullioned windows and grand staircase give the public rooms a genuine country house atmosphere, while the surrounding grounds offer quiet walks and private fishing for guests.
Bedrooms are traditionally furnished, many with views over the parkland or river, and the hotel's restaurant serves a seasonal menu built around Welsh produce, making the most of the estate's rural setting. A cosy bar and lounge areas give guests somewhere to settle in the evening after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.
The hotel's location just outside Builth Wells town centre makes it a convenient base for visiting the Royal Welsh Showground, walking the Wye valley, or exploring the wider Cambrian Mountains, while remaining close enough to walk into town for shops and pubs.

Lovely place to get away for a few days. Well equipped kitchen, lovely grounds, comfortable bedroom's as well as medium and large several areas to socialise inside and outside of the building.

Exceptional manor and beautiful landscape in heart of Wales. Plenty of rooms with all facilities - clean, tidy and well arranged. Fully furnished kitchen, small jacuzzi, beautiful and extended garden with a lovely stream - all the best of nature has to offer. We had a lovely time with friends and family. In winter, post sunset ensure to drive carefully for the last lag of drive (approx 60 miles). Best to reach before sunset and enjoy the lovely drive through Wales.

We hire Caer Beris 4 times a year as the location for The Corsetry Retreat, its such a beautiful building full of character and quirks. As you would expect with a building of this age sometimes its quirks need attention, but theres allways a caretaker on hand to come save the day.

Oh my god. This place is amazing and my English are not good enough to describe it. It is like you jump inside Agatha Christie pages. Wonderful place in perfect condition with all the original decoration elements there. Beautiful rooms and great communal areas. Wish I could spend more time here.
