About Hurn Lane Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite
Tucked between Brean and Burnham-on-Sea, Hurn Lane offers spacious touring pitches – on grass or hardstanding, some fully serviced – with room to spread out awnings, gazebos and barbecues. The immaculately kept facilities stand out: visitors consistently praise spotless showers with plenty of hot water, plus wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and a parent-and-baby washroom. A play area keeps kids entertained, and free wifi is a handy extra.
The real draw is the location. Sandy Berrow beach lies just 15 minutes' walk away through Berrow Dunes Local Nature Reserve – a lovely stroll that sets the tone for lazy coastal days. Despite its popularity, the site maintains a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff add to the welcoming feel. This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site, so non-members pay a £15 nightly supplement (or consider the £69 annual membership if you'll use their network more than a few nights).
From here, explore neighbouring beaches, Mendip Hills walks, or head inland to Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge – this spot makes an excellent Somerset coast base.

What visitors say
A very warm welcome from the lovely male Welsh warden. Pitches are well maintained and site is obviously well cared for. There are two toilet blocks, both with dish washing and laundry areas. A well stocked information room is well worth a visit just so that you don’t miss anything in the area. Mark was particularly helpful, recommending cycle routes and describing the best way to get to the beach. The site is a credit to the staff.

Hurn Lane is a single road leading to the site, this does not cause a problem as you need to be off site by 11am & arrival is 1pm or later. Very friendly & helpful staff at reception. We had booked a hardstanding pitch, plenty big enough for caravan awning & car. Site is wonderfully clean including the toilet blocks. Showers have plenty of hot water with a good pressure. We found the site to be very relaxing & quiet even over the weekend which was just what we needed. We would definitely use again.

Tight road to get in. Camp site was clean and well positioned. 400 metre stroll to a massive beach. But beware of unstable sand further out from high tide. Shops close by and fuel stations. Good pitches and toilet blocks. Quite surrounded by static campsites so noise maybe an issue on weekends or public holidays from rowdy people or children!

Can't rate rooms because I brought my own motorhome. Very clean site with friendly people. A 10 min walk to the beach and a shop in the next camp site. Really relaxing environment with some park area for the baby and a dog area for letting my girl of her lead. Will defo go back
