About Best Western Priory Hotel
The Best Western Priory Hotel sits behind the historic priory walls on Mildenhall Road, a short distance from Bury St Edmunds town centre and close to the A14. The Grade II listed building has been adapted into 36 guestrooms, offering the consistency of the Best Western brand alongside a genuinely characterful setting.
Dining is a particular strength here, with the Garden Restaurant holding an AA Rosette for its cooking and a separate bar and lounge for a quieter drink. Free wi-fi and free parking are provided throughout, useful for a town where central parking can otherwise be limited, and dog-friendly rooms are available on request for an additional charge.
Its position close to the A14 makes the hotel an easy stop for anyone arriving by car, while the walk into the town centre for the Abbey Gardens and Cathedral takes around fifteen minutes.
