What visitors say
A nice site spoilt by lots of tatty looking permanent touring caravans and other assorted vehicles which appeared to be occupied full time. Facilities were OK but limited accessible fresh water taps. Nice cafe in the nearby village but no footpath on the busy road. As we were in a motorhome we cycled there, and there is a good cycle path to Bury, route 51.

The caravan site I stayed at was a fantastic choice for a relaxing vacation. The site was well-kept and offered spacious pitches, providing a comfortable stay for caravan owners. The on-site amenities, such as clean shower facilities and a well-stocked convenience store, added convenience to our trip. The site's friendly staff made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist with any questions. Its location near picturesque landscapes and attractions made exploring the area a breeze. Overall, it was a wonderful caravan experience, making it an ideal destination for travelers seeking a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Lovely site, lovely welcome and very quiet. The only extra star would be something out of camp site owners control. We like to walk into town or to the local pub for a bite to eat or local shop for newspapers etc, but the pathways are very sparse. Also, we need to let our dog have a run off lead but there didn't seem to be anywhere locally. These are desires partularly to us, so if this is not important to you then I recommend this camp site. Really good shower facilities. Very clean and well run site. Had a great relaxing weekend.

Don't let looks fool you. The only 'perk' of this place is that it’s near the A14, so you can make a quick getaway once you realize you’ve entered a real-life episode of *Survivor*. The toilets are so filthy they’re practically auditioning for a horror movie. If you’re into breathing smoke, you’re in luck—residents burn wood here like they're summoning spirits or trying to send smoke signals to lost relatives. Craving some tranquility? Too bad! This place offers a delightful soundtrack of shrieking children and barking dogs, perfect for anyone who hates their sanity. And watch your step—dodging dog poo here is like playing a never-ending game of Minesweeper on expert mode. Need to wash your clothes? Good luck with the two washing machines that smell like a wet dog convention—after everyone’s dog beds have had a spin. For nightlife, enjoy a mix of drug deals and spontaneous raves at 2 a.m. If you have nowhere else to go, it’s... well, somewhere to go. But if you’re looking for a holiday spot, you’d have more fun in a dumpster. Seriously, save yourself.
