About Roseleigh Guest House
Roseleigh occupies a Grade II listed building dating from 1871 on Broad Walk, a quiet pedestrian path running along the edge of Pavilion Gardens, with several rooms looking directly over the gardens' lake. It is a five-minute walk from the Opera House and the town centre, but feels notably calmer than staying above the market square.
Rooms are individually furnished in keeping with the building's period, and a full cooked breakfast is served each morning, consistently the most praised part of a stay here. Free on-site parking is a genuine advantage in a town where town-centre parking is limited and metered.
It suits couples and older travellers wanting a traditional, well-run guest house experience, and anyone who would rather wake up to a garden and lake view than a market-square one.
