Tucked just outside Trefor on the Llŷn Peninsula, Bert's is a family-friendly find with direct access to its own shingle beach and stunning mountain views that frame the pitches. The well-equipped site keeps things comfortable with hot, clean showers and a little on-site café turning out excellent coffee and proper homemade cakes — ideal for refuelling after a coastal walk or a day on the sand. Children have plenty to keep them occupied, and the atmosphere stays peaceful even when pitches are full.

We stayed at both The Piggery and on the campsite and had amazing experiences at both. The hosts are fabulous and so kind and helpful. The Piggery is perfect for a special visit and so comfortable with everything you could need. The campsite is gorgeous and well equipped with the best hot showers I’ve ever had at a campsite. The whole experience was 10/10.

did not stay but came by to visit the cafe and walk around. the cafe for starters absolutely beautiful, chic and classy. staff there were so lovely and kind 👏🏽 the whole campsite was absolutely stunning, so much room and amazing views! I definitely recommend for coffee alone!

Beautiful cafe, they serve excellent coffee, oat milk available and an amazing selection of cakes. Indoor and outdoor seating. Really peaceful setting and lovely service. Dog friendly inside and out. Part of a 5km circular walk. Thank you!

This is set in beautiful grounds. Woodland and beach areas. views are outstanding. Love the privacy of the wooded camper van location. Also tent area all have separate spaces so noone too close. Ian the owner is very welcoming and had great few chats. Showers are nice n hot with little vanity space separate. Toilets by main area are OK however myself not used to camplife yet really did not like the porter loos (cleaning daily is a must). Sauna on the beach nice touch but never used. Cafe beachside was great for coffees and ice cream. We ate in the restaurant had steak with bottle of wine. Steak was nice however if I had to give bit of feedback the potatoes where cold and needed cooking bit more. I would recommend and would revisit.
