Second year staying at Elm Beach Caravan Park. As usual Lisa was lovely taking care of us. Booking a caravan was easy, paid deposit over the phone and final amount by bank transfer. The caravan was lovely and cosy with everything you needed. Lisa made the check in process easy. The caravan was in a great location on the park. Great sea views. The kitchen had all the pots, pans and cutlery needed for self catering. The site was peaceful and the neighbours were friendly. If you are looking for a holiday by the beach then this is the place you need to go to.

First time staying at Elm Beach Caravan Park. I called the main office and was provided with a direct number to the bookings team. I spoke to Lisa and booked a caravan for a week. I received an email confirming the booking the same day. I found the email in my spam box. I paid a deposit over the phone and two weeks before arriving I did a bank transfer for the final amount. On arrival, I was met by Lisa who was extremely accommodating. The caravan I rented was very clean and spacious. The sea views from the caravan were spectacular. The caravan was fully equipped with all the cutlery, pots and pans needed. The park was well kept, grass regularly cut. The park was very quiet and it was very relaxing to be there. If you are looking for a quiet break by the beach then this is the place for you.

We stayed at this site several times in past years and were always happy with our stays. However, looking at recent reviews it seems to have gone down hill lately. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and I rang to arrange a booking. I was referred to Lisa, settled on dates for a short stay and asked her to send details and methods of payment. That was 6 days ago but I have not received a reply yet. Seems that the reviews are sometimes worth reading! Booked on the site next door, sorted and paid for in 24 hours.

Terrible experience from beginning (absolutely miserable Lisa who seem like she doesnt want to take booking at all) to arrival and stay. Bad customer service, hopefully owners will do something about it. Bed bugs, mould and cold caravans. Microvawe wasnt working, had to keep oven doors closed with broom as it was loosing the heat during cooking. Cheaper than Haven so you get what you pay for I suppose... Avoid!
