About Callander Meadows

Callander Meadows combines a small bed and breakfast with a genuinely destination-worthy restaurant, Grace, set in a Georgian townhouse on the town's Main Street. The handful of individually decorated rooms sit above the restaurant and beer garden, giving guests the convenience of stepping downstairs for dinner rather than needing to book elsewhere in town.

Grace takes a hyper-local approach to its menus, sourcing from nearby farms and foraging where possible, with dishes changing through the year to follow the seasons. The restaurant operates year-round for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is as much a reason to stay here as the rooms themselves, particularly for guests who want a serious meal without leaving the building.

The Main Street position makes Callander Meadows one of the most central places to stay in town, well suited to food-focused visitors and anyone wanting to combine a comfortable B&B stay with a proper restaurant on site.

Absolutely outstanding! The hosts are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The cuisine is of Michelin-star quality—creative, refined, and thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. Every dish was a delight. We also stayed overnight and felt completely at home. The accommodations were comfortable, charming, and perfectly complemented the overall experience. Combined with the warm atmosphere and outstanding hospitality, this made for a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed for a night while in Scotland. By far the best food we had the whole trip. The whole family was wonderful and welcoming. Our host cooked amazing food and made us wish we could’ve stayed longer. Made our honeymoon unforgettable.

Dined at Callander Meadows recently. A lovely couple, who appeared to be the owners very kindly served us, despite us just rocking up and asking if there were any spaces free. One could say we were served with Blumenthal-esque technicality itself, as alongside having the most scrumptious food we also were given complimentary experimental entrées, that were explained in detail to us whilst we awaited the mains. I'd recommend the cheeseboard as a dessert, too. This is cooking with a passion!

We had an incredible time at Callander Meadows which is right in the centre of the town in a beautiful building. It’s a great base to explore the beautiful nature. The owners Josh and Lesley were incredibly welcoming, telling us all about the town and surrounding area and their vision for the hotel and the restaurant. The room was large and comfortable and felt like being in a home. Our dog stayed with us and was treated like a member of the family. The hearty breakfast was also excellent to kickstart our day. The restaurant Grace which runs separately from the B&B is an absolute must for at least one night if staying the night or not. The food was incredible and you can feel the passion put into creating dishes from locally sourced and foraged seasonal ingredients. We’d absolutely visit again when in the area! It’s also excellent value for money. While the restaurant’s evening menu may be pricier than other pubs in the town the food is on another level. It’s fine dining with a homely feel.
