About The Highland Guest House
The Highland Guest House occupies a Georgian townhouse on South Church Street, a short walk from Callander's Main Street, offering individually styled bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. Many rooms retain original features from the building's construction, and free wifi and tea and coffee facilities are provided throughout.
A hearty Scottish breakfast is served each morning in the guest house's dining room, using traditional recipes and generous portions aimed at walkers and cyclists setting out for a full day in the surrounding hills. The central location keeps the town's shops, cafes and the riverside Meadows within easy walking distance.
As one of the more affordable guest houses in central Callander, The Highland Guest House suits budget-conscious visitors and outdoor enthusiasts who want a straightforward, well-located base without paying for country house extras they will not use.

A lovely Guesthouse. Jan was a great host and her breakfasts were second to none. I was on my own but did not feel alone. I had a comfortable ensuite single room which was truly excellent value. I look forward to eating my leaving gift of shortbread. Right in the Centre of Callander. A super break in the Loch Lomond And Trossachs National Park.

Stayed here with my best friend for the weekend. Beautiful b&b, wonderful and friendly owners, and the room and bathroom were lovely. The beds were so comfortable, breakfast was fresh and filling, along with all the continental options available. Parking was good, the town itself was very picturesque. We will 100% be coming back to this hotel, and recommend it to anyone! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Excellent Bed & Breakfast establishment managed by the former owners of the Waverley Hotel. Breakfast is a high quality Experience with many extras not on offer at other B&Bs. Conveniently located just off South end of Main St. Service is excellent and prices are very reasonable for the quality on offer.

My husband took me to Callander for a 2 night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners very friendly. The location of this guest house is excellent, a stones throw to the main street and shops. We also walked to Bracklinn Falls and enjoyed the walk and seeing the beautiful scenery and waterfalls. We were given Arran and Jura Family Room which was at the top, more stairs but didn't mind the exercise and the view from our room was just lovely so well worth it!! Very clean and comfortable, a lovely room and very nicely decorated.Shower was excellent i loved it! Power shower and good control of temperature. Bed was very comfortable slept well with good amenities. Also extra and thoughtful amenities left out in hall, ironing board, iron, fan, extra tea/coffee and toiletries if required. Very well thought out. Breakfast between 8am and 9.30am, a good timeframe. Very good selection of cereal, fruits and juices and a 24 hour coffee machine. The menu for cooked food Very good 👍 full cooked breakfast, or lighter meals with toast as well. Good selection of jam and marmalade too. On check out Jan gifted us with Callander Shortcake which was lovely!! Great town with friendly people would definitely visit again!
