About The Knowe Guest House

Callander sits within easy reach of Bracklinn Falls and Loch Katrine, making it a natural base for exploring this stretch of the national park, and The Knowe Guest House offers a straightforward, comfortable place to stay while doing so. The guest house is on Ancaster Road, with free on-site parking for those arriving by car.

Rooms are classic in style, each with an en-suite bathroom, free WiFi and drinks available in room. A cooked breakfast is served each morning, and the garden gives guests a spot to sit outdoors with views towards the surrounding hills, alongside a picnic area and additional outdoor seating. Reception operates around the clock, with concierge services on hand for local advice.

Beyond the garden gate, the area suits walkers and cyclists, with golf, watersports, pubs and restaurants all nearby. It is a simple, well-placed setup rather than a destination in itself, geared towards guests keen to spend their days out in the landscape and return to a quiet, comfortable base.

Fantastic B&B run by a husband & wife who are fabulous & generous hosts. Our room was huge, with an amazing view across the valley. Bracklinn Falls only 30 mins walk, high street a 2 minute walk. A nice outdoor seating area on the patio was perfect for us too, as we celebrated my dad's birthday with a wee glass 🥂. Massive thanks to Deon & Laura for such a welcoming stay

We had a superb 2-night stay about sums this B&B up. Welcoming hosts, a lovely, comfortable, well decorated, and appointed room, and breakfast was A OK too. If you have a car with low-slumg suspension, you may have an issue getting into and out of the car park here, but this with normal setups will be fine. Recommended!

I haven’t stayed here as the house was full on the dates I needed. However Dion suggested a place for me to try having checked there was an available room. Now that is service!
