I love this hotel and always use it when I need to stay over close to our office. I must have stayed at least 50 times in the last few years; it always feels like a home-from-home; service is friendly and the atmosphere is always more personable than comparable offerings. The renovation since its previous incarnation as a Holiday Inn Express has left all the good bits intact (although it's a pity that the rooms no longer seem to have sofas), and the expanded evening menu is really welcome: the curries are particularly fresh. I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. I look forward to visiting again.

Hotel is reasonable, noisy air con but otherwise the room was fine. However, despite the response to other reviews the cost of parking (£10) is not clearly advertised on booking.com, and is sufficient to mean that other options with free parking are more competitive. It should be very clearly marked on the booking.com page - I would have chosen differently if I’d known and will in the future.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. It feels fresh and new after the refurbishment. The check-in process was quick and seamless, which made a great first impression. A special mention to Nikhil at reception, who recognised us from our previous stay when the hotel was under IHG that personal touch really stood out. The whole team was warm, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. Breakfast had a good variety of options overall, although the eggs were a bit watery – just a small area for improvement. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely return!
