What visitors say
Flashpoint absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is something special. The facilities are incredible clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out for climbers of all abilities. I took my two kids (ages 7 and 9), and they didn’t want to leave. The children’s climbing area is fantastic. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly very experienced. They took the time to make sure we were comfortable and gave helpful guidance that made the whole visit even better. We also loved the cafe, the pizza was great, the soft drinks kept the kids happy, and the coffee was genuinely lovely. It was the perfect way to refuel between climbs. Highly rate this place and we’ll definitely be back.

We booked our daughter's 8th birthday party at Flashpoint Cardiff, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Even during the booking process, the team were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Whenever I contacted them about possible changes to the number of attendees, nothing was ever too much trouble. They were always friendly, responsive, and happy to help. On the day of the party, our instructors, Michael and Zack, were absolutely amazing. They were patient, encouraging, and supportive throughout, always with a smile on their faces. They helped the children build confidence without ever pushing them. Even the shiest children were soon climbing higher than they thought possible because they felt so encouraged and supported. A special thank you also to Tesni at reception and Lloyd, who were both incredibly welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure the party was a success. The children had an amazing time and were having fun from beginning to end. We received so much positive feedback from both the children and their parents, many of whom commented on what a brilliant and unique party idea it was. The food and drinks were excellent too. The pizza was absolutely delicious, home made, and the coffee was fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Flashpoint Cardiff for making our daughter's birthday so memorable. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, well-organised, and unforgettable children's party experience.

Plenty of bouldering here. Kids really liked the upper area with shorter persons routes. Wasn't loads of free parking might be busy on weekend. Tip: check which days they do route setting, we went on a Thursday and found a large section stripped. All in all a good session. Auto belay section bit limited but ok for a quick blast.

Amazing gym, good variety of setting styles, fun and interesting climbs at all grades. If you want to get strong and develop great technique this is the gym for you! Been climbing for 10 years, and climbing here since it was called roc-bloc and this is my favourite gym in all of South Wales 🤘🏼super friendly staff and great coffee!
