About Gwbert Hotel
Cardigan sits on the Ceredigion coast, a market town known for its river, its castle history and easy access to the Pembrokeshire coastline, and it's here on Coronation Drive that the Gwbert Hotel makes its home. The setting puts guests within reach of walking and cycling routes, fishing and watersports, plus a nearby golf course, making it a practical base for exploring the coast rather than just passing through.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and family options are available, with drinks available in-room and a lift serving the building. The hotel runs a restaurant and bar on site, serves breakfast, and offers room service alongside a 24-hour reception and laundry service, so guests are looked after whatever time they arrive or leave. Free WiFi runs throughout, and the hotel also functions as a wedding venue for those wanting a coastal setting for the occasion.
Free on-site parking is provided, which makes it straightforward for anyone arriving by car. Beyond the hotel itself, the wider area has pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, alongside Castell Henllys as a point of historical interest for those wanting a day out from the coast.
