About Wild Meadows Camping

Wild Meadows Camping sits in peaceful Carmarthenshire countryside, delivering that off-grid atmosphere without sacrificing comfort. Alongside traditional grass and hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up, you'll find well-appointed shepherd's huts and bell tents—ideal if canvas under your own steam isn't appealing. The shower and toilet facilities earn consistent praise for being spotlessly maintained and genuinely private, a welcome change from some larger sites.

Views stretch across rolling farmland, and the location proves handy for both the Ceredigion coast and the Teifi Valley's market towns. Staff know the area inside-out and happily share recommendations. It's a small, low-key setup that welcomes families, bikers, and groups alike, though note dogs aren't permitted. Barbecues are encouraged, and there's space to park by your pitch—practical touches that keep things relaxed.

What visitors say

Nolwenn Balavoine

Stayed 2 nights in the Shepherd's hut. We had a wonderful stay. The hut is extremely comfortable and the location quiet which made for an excellent night sleep. The hut is very well catered for. The facilities are of great quality and clean. Andy could not have been more welcoming. Highly recommend for an escape to nature. .

Great campsite!! Lovely to be welcomed by the owner Andy, and given a very informative tour of the site, facilities and lots of additional info about things to do on site and in the local vicinity. The facilities, built by owners, were immaculately clean, walls and cubicle doors to the ceiling (great for privacy) and a real treat that they were heated. Great location for visiting local beaches and Andy has loads of information about the best ones to visit. Can’t think of anything negative to say about our trip, we will 100% be returning 😊

Absolutely gorgeous campsite. Amazing area and beautiful views. Friendly cows next door. Andy was friendly and helpful and so accommodating. The showers and toilets were beautifully clean and very private with full walls and doors. Would be great to come back here with kids because there's also a fun little stream area for them to explore. Will be back next year!
