Wild Meadow Camping - Fisherman’s Cabin

Ceredigion

Rolling countryside spreads across this part of Ceredigion, where the land drops towards Cardigan Bay a few miles away. Wild Meadow Camping sits among the fields around Plwmp, a quiet pocket of West Wales where walking trails crisscross the rural landscape and the coast is within reach. The Fisherman's Cabin is a standalone retreat on the site, designed to sleep four with a king bed in the bedroom and a pair of bunks, along with a ground-floor bathroom and shower room.

The open-plan living space contains a kitchen area with induction hob, microwave and small fridge, plus a dining spot at the breakfast bar and a sofa for downtime. Electricity and bed linen are included. Outside, a covered porch overlooks the meadow with seating to catch the morning or take in the evening—the kind of place where birdsong and wildflowers set the tone. You have parking for one car on site, and the owners are known for knowledge of local walking routes and beaches. No smoking indoors. The cabin suits couples, small families or friends seeking a quiet base in the countryside; the site's own facilities, shared with other properties, include heated shower and toilet blocks.

Stayed 2 nights in the Shepherd's hut. We had a wonderful stay. The hut is extremely comfortable and the location quiet which made for an excellent night sleep. The hut is very well catered for. The facilities are of great quality and clean. Andy could not have been more welcoming. Highly recommend for an escape to nature. .

Great campsite!! Lovely to be welcomed by the owner Andy, and given a very informative tour of the site, facilities and lots of additional info about things to do on site and in the local vicinity. The facilities, built by owners, were immaculately clean, walls and cubicle doors to the ceiling (great for privacy) and a real treat that they were heated. Great location for visiting local beaches and Andy has loads of information about the best ones to visit. Can’t think of anything negative to say about our trip, we will 100% be returning 😊

Absolutely gorgeous campsite. Amazing area and beautiful views. Friendly cows next door. Andy was friendly and helpful and so accommodating. The showers and toilets were beautifully clean and very private with full walls and doors. Would be great to come back here with kids because there's also a fun little stream area for them to explore. Will be back next year!
