We visited in July 2026, chosen because of the good reviews on various sites and its proximity to the National Botanical Garden of Wales. When we arrived we found it was close to the remarkably restored historic Aberglasney Gardens as well, and the hotel itself was even better than the reviews. David and Gill provide a great welcome, excellent food, impeccable service and real comfort. Dinner each night had a wide choice with innovative dishes amongst the Welsh staples, the food sourced locally and cooked to perfection, arriving at the table hot! Welsh hospitality at its best.
