About Oak Tree Farm Glamping
Well, this one's a Carmarthenshire cracker. Oak Tree Farm Glamping is an off-grid, family-run smallholding with views of pasture, oak woodlands and Welsh hills, 15 minutes' drive from Llandeilo. If you're after hikes and castles in the Brecon Beacons, surfing and rockpooling on Pembrokeshire's beaches or white-knuckle adventure on the rivers and rock faces, you'll have a packed schedule here.
The on-site instructor runs complimentary archery and axe throwing sessions for the adventurous, while quieter souls can simply settle in around the firepits with free wood supplied. Interiors come prettied up with fairy lights, and outdoor areas are set up for alfresco dining with picnic tables and camp kitchens. Shared facilities include composting toilets and gas-powered showers—all very eco-minded, though the off-grid setup won't suit everyone. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Llandeilo, a 20-minute drive, has plenty of pubs, takeaways and shops, while just outside town Dinefwr Castle rises over the Tywi valley, its medieval ruins surrounded by a deer park and nature reserve where you might spot otters, voles, badgers and polecats.

My first time glamping and what a beautiful place it is too. My two young boys loved exploring this safe friendly site, the father and daughter team go above and beyond with ice packs, fire wood, fully charged lanterns etc and we even had a free axe throwing lesson. The only negative part about it (drumroll) was having to leave..

Such a gorgeous and well loved place! We had so much fun and really got to relax. Beautiful location and well kept tents and facilities. Had everything you could need and made very cosy. Owner and his family are wonderful and happy to chat or help with anything. We also tried the axe throwing which was so fun! Will definatley recommend and hopefully return!

Situated in an absolutely beautiful part of the country. Tents were really nice, fantastically comfy beds. A really great, peaceful place to relax
