Stayed here over the summer with friends, this has to be one of the most tranquil and beautiful ‘wild’ campsites we have ever stayed in. I say ‘wild’ because despite the fact you are immersed in nature with wildlife surrounding you and on the most idyllic pitches, staying in one of the bell tents was more luxurious then a lot of hotel rooms we have been in! Our children loved the play park and the games meadow and we loved the in place fire pits and cooking facilities. The toilet and shower block were immaculate and clean and as for David and Fiona, they were unbelievably accommodating and helpful at every turn (and we created quite a few turns!). We will be recommending this place to all our friends and we will be coming back again for sure. Thank you for a wonderful few days.

We stayed in a Stargazer Dome at the end of July. The site is lovely, so peaceful and in a really good location for exploring the local area. The dome was much bigger than expected and had everything we could need. We usually camp so it was lovely to have a full oven for cooking. The site owners, David and Fiona, are a really nice couple and are very knowledgeable on the local area and good places to visit. Would definitely return

Had an amazing experience last week in a stargazing dome. Beautiful surroundings lovely peaceful site. Owners David and Fiona couldn't do enough for you. Lovely toilet and shower block, hot water and spotlessly clean. The compost toilets are great too. Went for lovely walks, kids played happily in the playground and football pitch. Would deffo book again and recommend to all. Fantastic place. Well done david and fiona

What an amazing little break away, beautiful surroundings and the most hospitable hosts. David & Fiona go above and beyond to make sure you have all you need, nothing is too much trouble. The Stargazer domes have proper double beds and a lovely futon to sleep 2 more, solar lighting and a log burner. Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped, covered kitchen outside complete with full size cooker. Outside space per pitch is so generous, complete with hammock and firepit provided for evenings toasting marshmallows!Personal compostable toilet to stargazers and shared flushing toilets and shower block with washing up facilities. So many top reviews on the Pitch up website. Thoroughly recommended.
