You enter Barn Cottage through an impressive hallway into a double-height living room with exposed beams and a wood burner, with doors opening onto an enclosed patio and garden. This converted barn on Parc Mawr Farm balances period features with a contemporary fit-out. The ground floor holds the living space, a fully equipped kitchen with dining for six, utility room with washing machine, and a bedroom with two single beds plus a shower room. Upstairs are two further bedrooms: one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, another with a kingsize bed. A second toilet sits on the ground floor.

Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with fuel for the wood burner. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. Parking on site accommodates three cars, and there is bike storage. The property draws water from a well. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. Smoking is not permitted.

The farm sits near the village of Cwmdu, reachable on foot via public footpaths and fields. Llandeilo town, with its independent shops and restaurants, is close by car, as are Dinefwr Castle and Newton House. Pembrey Country Park offers horse riding, tobogganing and a dry ski slope. Local cycling trails are within a short drive.

Very tranquil area, cosy cottages and surrounded by the nature of wales. Ideal if you are looking for a cosy, nature remote place and quiet escape! Peter is lovely, always making sure we were well served. Totally recommend!!

Very cosy quiet cottage with lovely views. Peter was very friendly and welcomed us to his cottage and gave a lot of helpful information about the area. sybil the dog was very friendly and always came to greet us after we had been out. She loved getting treats and being around our daughters dogs. .
